The place where I had “pleasure” to meet Scottish midges for the first time in my life (July 2015) 😉 This magic place is about 2,5 hours way up to the north from Glasgow in Scotland. If you love fairy tales and fantasy climate you definitely must visit it! Unfortunately, it is not good connection by a bus or a train so, probably, you need to have a car. If you eventually manage to come to Glencoe, there are a lot of hiking or just trekking trails and the nice campsite next to Loch Leven.
